Rum of Faith Delivers!
Author: Jay
Been a fan of Jeremy Owen for many years. Used to see him in clubs around Seattle when he played with Band Name Hollow. This album captures the powerful storytelling, emotion, and intimacy that make him such a talent, but captures it in a new way. His voice is mature and a little world-weary, you sense the pain, and the joy that he's experienced over the years as you listen to these tracks. The stripped down sound of the songs is both fresh and classic. He brings the storytelling ability of a James Taylor or a Cat Stevens alive, but in a new and exciting way! This is a great album.

Jessie’s 1st track “Whiskey Baby” introduces you to her captivating voice, drawing you into feel her emotions as she shares her stories, from the broken hearted innocence of youth onto her 2nd track “Space & Bugs”… which begs the question... Is it love or Butterflies? “By the Way”, track 3, Jessie plays the piano with a gentle love song and heartfelt lyrics and then back to her guitar with a fun whimsical little number called “Bruises to Prove it”... As the album plays on, her songs paint new stories in your mind, with broken memories in “The Ballad of Michael Miller” and “Girl in a Glass Case”, to dare I say love and lust, with the subtle seductions in “3 AM” and “3 AM Again” and “getting tangled in each other”...
